John V. Jurica, MD
Dr. Jurica has spent nearly 30 years in the medical profession in a clinical and/or administrative capacity as an actively licensed and certified family physician. As a senior executive at a regional medical center south of Chicago, he has successfully developed and implemented strategic initiatives enabling his health system to achieve excellent outcomes, outstanding patient safety and consistent growth and operating margins. As a family physician, he cared for thousands of patients of all ages in the Kankakee area.
Prior to serving in his role as Medical Director at PromptMed Urgent Care, Dr. Jurica was Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Previously, Dr. Jurica worked as Vice President for Medical Affairs while simultaneously practicing as a family physician for Family Medicine Associates, where he was also an owner and Managing Partner. Dr. Jurica started his career as a family physician at Kankakee Family Medicine, also working part time as an occupational medicine physician for Riverside Medical Center.
Dr. Jurica completed his family medicine residency at the University of Illinois/Rockford Medical Education Foundation, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago, his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign and his Masters in Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Hunter A. Davis
President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Davis has spent more than ten years in the investment banking, private equity and public equity investing industries, primarily focused on the healthcare services sector. He has successfully advised early-stage and high-growth healthcare companies as well as invested alongside and teamed with entrepreneurs and management teams to meaningfully expand their businesses, both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
Prior to serving in his role as President & CEO at PromptMed Urgent Care, Mr. Davis worked as an Investment Associate in the Healthcare Group at Pamlico Capital, a Charlotte-based private equity firm managing $2.0 billion in equity capital. At Pamlico Capital, Mr. Davis evaluated and structured investments in privately-held growth companies while working closely with management teams to execute their business plans and help maximize shareholder value. Mr. Davis started his career in New York City in the investment banking industry, first in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Citigroup Global Markets and subsequently in the Healthcare Group at Goldman, Sachs & Co.
Mr. Davis currently serves on the Membership Committee of the Urgent Care Association of America (UCAOA). He received his B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
